Sublime Images produce reproduction ceramic or glass artistic tiles available in different finishes, and sizes (see below). This Piet Mondrain (1872-1944) painting is printed through a quality heat process that guarantees vivid colors and crisp images. Perfect as a display item or for back splashes but use a Non-Sand grout and clean with Windex and a non-abrasive cloth.
Each tile is either 4.25″ square or 6″ square, consequently you must decide the size of the backsplash or mural you wish to create and then choose which tile size suits your objectives. For example a 24″ square is easily satisfied with 16 x 6″ tiles while 36 x 4.25″ tiles will produce a 25 1/2″ square. However an allowance must be allowed if you choose lugged tiles. There is a gap of 1/16″ where 2 tiles meet e.g. the width of three 4.25″ lugged tiles is 12.875″ (4.25″ x 3 + (1/16″ x 2)). Contact us if you have any doubts. You are also welcome to purchase the image as on a single tile.
Our tiles have been featured in KITCHENS Magazine (Romantic Homes Publications).
The tile is available with the following finishes, sizes and options:
Surface Finish: Gloss – a smooth, shiny, lustrous surface.
Surface Finish: Satin – a semi-gloss finish (midway between matte and gloss). It has an absence of shine but very elegant.
6″ (15.24 cm) square and 1/4″ (0.635 cm) thick with lugs”
6″ (15.24 cm) square and 3/16″ (0.47625 cm) thick without lugs
4.25″ (10.795 cm) square and 1/4″ (0.635 cm) thick with lugs
4.25″ (10.795 cm) square and 3/16″ (0.47625 cm) thick lugs
Smooth Glass Tile: 6″ (15.24cm) square and 3/16″ (0.47625 cm) thick.
* lugged tiles are self spacing. Each tile has two little ‘nubs’ on each side of the tile which, when placed adjacent to one another, keep the tiles a consistent distance apart.
The designs on our tiles are flat; there are no raised surfaces nor should our tiles be displayed in direct sunlight.
Watermarks: If it needs to be said, all of our tiles are shipped without the watermarks.
