Sublime Images produce reproduction ceramic on a whole range of mixed and unlikely subjects (Pot Pourri). The tiles are available in different finishes, and sizes (see below). The image, from a late 19th century portrait of Karmariera Te Hau Takiri Wharepapa (Moari Chief) by Gottfried Lindauer, is printed through a quality heat process that guarantees vivid colors and crisp images. Perfect as a display item or for back splashes but use a Non-Sand grout and clean with Windex and a non-abrasive cloth. Our tiles have been featured in KITCHENS Magazine (Romantic Homes Publications).
The tile is available with the following finishes, sizes and options:
Surface Finish: Gloss – a smooth, shiny, lustrous surface.
Surface Finish: Satin – a semi-gloss finish (midway between matte and gloss). It has an absence of shine but very elegant.
Glossy – 6″ x 8″ and 1/4″ thick without lugs
Glossy – 7 7/8″ x 9 7/8″ and 1/4″ thick without lugs
Satin – 7 7/8″ x 9 7/8″ and 1/4″ thick without lugs
* lugged tiles are self spacing. Each tile has two little ‘nubs’ on each side of the tile which, when placed adjacent to one another, keep the tiles a consistent distance apart.
Backing: The tiles can have a felt backing or no backing (plain tile).
The designs on our tiles are flat; there are no raised surfaces nor should our tiles be displayed in direct sunlight.
Watermarks: If it needs to be said, all of our tiles are shipped without the watermarks.
