AS001 – Anton Seder Products – Bleeding Hearts and Snails

Description

Anton Seder (1850-1916) was born in Munich and received his artistic training at the Academy of Arts.  He was a follower of the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau)  movement and was not only active as a painter, but also as a sculptor, a decorative painter and an architect. In 1890, Seder was finally appointed director of the School of Arts and Crafts in Strasbourg.  He was a specialist in craft drawings and published a number of beautiful designs for gold, silver and iron works.  In his role as a professor, Seder was also passionately committed to contemporary discussions in art. This print of “Bleeding Hearts and Snails” is available on two sizes of gloss ceramic tile (7 7/8″ x 9 7/8″ and 6″ x 7 7/8″), or on a black MDF wall plaque and also a Natural Wood (ChromaLuxe) wall plaque both of which measure 8″ x 10″.

Sublime Images produce art works of bygone ages on various wall media. The art images are printed through a quality heat process that guarantees vivid colors and crisp images. The tiles are perfect as a display item (e.g. placed on a miniature easel) or for back splashes but use a Non-Sand grout and clean with Windex and a non-abrasive cloth. The wall plaques (5/8″ thick) are available in a black or natural wood finish. Our tiles have been featured in KITCHENS Magazine (Romantic Homes Publications).

Backing: The tiles can have a felt backing or no backing (plain tile).

The inks we use in printing our images are not UV tolerant and these products should not be hung in direct sunlight otherwise the images will remain bright and vivid for many years to come.

Watermarks: If it needs to be  said, all of our tiles are shipped without the watermarks.
